Hello New Friends!! I
am Ms. Sherry Edmonds and I am so thrilled to be your child's morning teacher. I live here in Jonesboro with my daughter
Lyric who will be a year old in September. I love to sing, be with family and work with children. This will be my 6th school year at Discovery Island, and I really enjoy working here. I
was named Teacher of the Year last year. I have worked with children for several years. I am very excited about our upcoming
year, and look forward to getting to know your family. Our goal
this year is to offer a safe, fun, learning environment for your child to learn and grow. The main focus this school year
is to help your child develop education, social, and physical skills. This year we will use the Sing, Spell, Read & Write
Preschool Program. This wonderful curriculum uses fun songs and activities to teach the basic skills needed for Kindergarten.
It is very important for your child to arrive by 9:00 in order to participate in our learning activities. I look forward to meeting you and spending time with your child. Thank you for giving me
