Welcome
to our class!
We believe young children should be treated with love and respect. They need to be hugged and
taught in a loving manner. We will always treat your child with compassion and patience. Our goal this
year is to help your child learn to play with others, and learn to express themselves better verbally. We will teach
them colors and shapes and introduce numbers, letters, body parts, and the five senses. We will use a lot of fun hands on
activities, art projects, songs, finger plays, and stories. We will, of course, have plenty of play time giving them time
to explore.
We will help you with potty-training when you feel your child is ready.
It takes us working together to accomplish this goal.
We believe that communication is so important. We
will send home daily report sheets each afternoon. This will help you know what activities we did, how your child ate,
slept and went potty. We will also send home a calendar and newsletter each month. This will keep you informed
of upcoming events and everyday activities. We will also post these on our Parent Information Center located in
the classroom. Please check this often. We will also post any party sign-up sheets or important information I
know you will need to know.
